The Red Box is a Vending Machine for Dry Cleaners that allow their customers to drop off and Pickup Dry Cleaning 24 hours a day.

They are situated outside a Dry Cleaners shop or they can be standalone in office buildings, car parks, train stations etc.

To make any type of technology, a reason is the most important part of any development. The reason why the Red Box was developed is to service the public in providing a convenience of service.

How it works

RED BOX Drop off/ resume & Pickup PROCESS

Process a Drop OFF

  1. Enter your phone number or tap a RFID chip on the screen.
  2. Swipe a valid credit card and press continue for the next step.
  3. Enter the qty of items you are dropping off and press the unlock chute door.
  4. Pull the handle down and tear off a bag, place your items into the bag.
  5. Place a ticket into the bag and replace back into the chute.
  6. Close the chute door.
  7. The Red Box will send you a Sms message once your order is ready for pickup.

Resume the order in Dry Cleaning Point of Sale

  1. Press Red Box drop offs in the main sales screen.
  2. Open the incoming bag and remove the ticket, check the garment qty is correct.
  3. Select the incoming order number on the screen and click the resume order to process.
  4. Enter the garments in with any additional related charges and press the payment screen.
  5. Process the payment and print the tags/ tickets.
  6. Dry clean and press the items.
  7. Inspect and bag the items.
  8. Assembly the completed order onto the automatic garment conveyor system for completion and this will also send a Sms to the customer stating their order is ready and will provide an indication of the pin number required for pickup.

Process of a Red Box Pickup

  1. Enter your phone number or tap a RFID chip on the screen.
  2. Enter your PIN number sent to you by Sms. RFID options skips step 2.
  3. All orders are automatically selected and will be ready for collection once the pickup door opens.

 DVR INCLUDED

DVR technology is a crucial to a success of The Red Box and Dry Cleaners; DCME has been involved in this technology for over 10 Years.

Adding the DVR system to the red box just gives that little extra security on the usage of the system. The Red Box DVR has 3 cameras trained on the processing of the orders; the fourth camera is mainly used for observation of the front counter.

 THE RED BOX PROCESS

All Terms and agreements are (agreed) upon prior to installation.

Rental agreements are delivered after the first face-to-face meeting.

Purchasing of a new garment conveyor or a conversion of an existing conveyor is required prior to commencing an agreement being made.

The Red Box staff member must complete an inspection of your site prior to any approvals in installing a Red Box.

All shop front installation a paid by the dry cleaner.

Rental agreements are signed prior to starting any installation.

Training periods and installation timing will be agreed upon prior to installation.

GARMENT CONVEYOR SELECTION     

CONVEYOR              

Purchasing a garment conveyor from us or from a third party is subject to certain conditions approval.

All garment conveyors must be converted for use, by a Red Box technician, regardless of where or whom it is purchased from.

The conversion of an existing garment conveyor is based on strict conditions.

A technician can come and check if your garment conveyor is suitable for communicating to a Red Box.

The cost of the conversion is subjected to what is required for the correct connection to be effective, which is based upon the requirements to convert.

Rental Option:

Rent a garment conveyor from us 4.meter (straight) conveyor.

 Rent to Buy Option:

Rent to buy a garment conveyor from us 4.meter(straight) conveyor can be repaid over 24 months at a monthly repayment plan.

Purchase Option:

Purchase garment conveyor from 4.meter, all conveyors larger than 4 meter are order to suit the dry cleaning store and will be required to be per-ordered from the supplier.

Installation of the garment conveyor are at an additional cost.

SHOP FRONT INSTALLATION

All of the above items are determined on a per-installation costing.

A shop fitter will be required to install The Red Box into the glass panel of your shop front, at the dry cleaners expense.

Council approval may be required at the cost of the Dry Cleaner.

All cost relating to the fitting of the shop front is at the Dry Cleaners cost.

 

RENTAL TERMS

DCME Rental is based on a MINIMUM 12 MONTHS.

The Red Box is based on: (1 Month) FREE PERIOD Currently.

The Red Box has an EXTRA CLAUS of early 12 Month exit Claus if unhappy after the FREE PERIOD.

OFFER = Free Period + 12 Months minimum.

4 Year There after rental agreement applies.

  • The red box is subject to increase in price after the 4 year rental agreement based on CPI.
  • Rental agreement is sent after initial face-to-face meeting.

If the store has created the issue, or directly caused the issue, an invoice will be raised and the store will be liable for:

  1. Call out fee
  2. Hourly rate
  3. Toll Charges.

SERVICING & MAINTENANCE

All maintenance and servicing under the rental agreement is preformed during normal trading hours any after hours servicing will be charged at a premium Rate of $150.00 per hour.

  • Free on site during normal trading hours servicing and maintenance.
  • Free software upgrades.
  • Free parts replacement that’s under the rental agreement.
  • Free Telephone support.
  • Free 1800 red box customer support number.

Garment conveyors and any non related rental equipment that are not under our rental agreement or not purchased through us, will incur charges.

* Additional servicing and maintenance conditions apply:

If the store has created the issue, or directly caused the issue, an invoice will be raised and the store will be liable for:

  1. Call out fee
  2. Hourly rate
  3. Toll Charges.

Note: All non-related service work will be charged out as an on a service call out fee and hourly rate.

Dry Cleaning Made Easy will be required to be installed at your shop front counter at an additional cost to you.
